Workshop 3: Dividing The pie: The True Cost of Electricity?

So how much does electricity really cost anyway? This workshop will explore how making electricity determines the final price that is charged to customers.  The complexity of the electricity value chain will be explained through user friendly videos and illustrations.  The presentations will also show how the total cost of electricity is divided up among rate classes and explain how energy, demand and customer charges arise.

Workshop 4: Powerful Parenting

It’s one thing to be a parent going through your journey on a wing and a prayer – reacting to each situation as it arises and hoping that you don’t mess up too much. On the other hand, it’s a completely different thing to have (and practice) strategies that help you through simple daily issues (and the bigger ones too), and help to provide you and your children with fundamental skills for growth and development. Michelle Gordon, Editor-in-Chief and Creative Director of B3 Parenting Magazine, has been helping both mothers and fathers to ‘parent powerfully’ for years. A passionate motivational speaker, she will help conference participants to bring order and strategy to parenting, while trying to balance the multiple dimensions of their lives.
